My 11-year-old has been flying through the lessons. The breakdown, explanations, and challenges really help him retain what he's learning. By far the best coding program we've tried.

My daughter started at 9 with zero experience. The lessons are clear, fun, and she went from the very basics to feeling genuinely competent. Highly recommend for young beginners.

Best part is showing something, then letting you try it before explaining again. Unlike group lessons where you just copy, this method makes things click and helps you understand deeply.

Michael, Founder of Kids Coding Tutor

Software Engineer

20+ Years Experience

Hi, I'm Michael.

When I was barely 10 years old, my father, a Computer Science professor, sat me down and taught me my first if statement in C. That one moment changed everything. By the time I reached one of the top engineering schools in the country, surrounded by the brightest students nationally, I stood out because I could code when most couldn't.

Years later, I was asked to tutor a young boy named Kalen. I was hesitant. I knew code inside out, but could I actually teach a kid? Watching Kalen go from confused to confident, building things on his own, was the moment I realised: this is exactly what my father did for me.

That's why I built Kids Coding Tutor. Not a corporation. Not a factory. A place where every child has a name, their concerns are our concerns, and their growth is something we genuinely take pride in. I've personally trained every instructor on our team to teach the way I wish every kid could learn.

PongFlappy BirdPac-Man

By the end, your child can:

  • Think step-by-step
  • Solve beginner logic problems
  • Turn ideas into small working projects

Skills covered: Scratch, sequencing, loops, events

~10–20 lessonsLearn more →
Phase 2 · Ages 10–13

Python + AI Literacy

Your child goes from dragging blocks to writing real code, and using AI like a pro.

Real Python projects, real problem-solving, and hands-on AI literacy that puts them ahead of every classmate.

Builds:

Turtle GraphicsTKinter AppsBounce! Game

By the end, your child can:

  • Write and debug real Python code

Common Questions

Everything you need to know before booking.

We work with kids aged 8 to 16, from complete beginners all the way to teens preparing for college. We adapt the curriculum to each child's age, maturity, and existing skill level.

Absolutely not. We welcome complete beginners with zero experience. We start from the very basics and build up at a pace that feels comfortable and engaging for your child.

You'll receive a detailed progress report after every session: what they learned, what clicked, and what's coming next. You'll never have to guess whether it's working.

We offer 1x, 2x, or 3x per week schedules depending on the package and your family's availability. Each session runs around 60 minutes. We'll recommend what works best after our discovery call.

All sessions are conducted online via video call, which means your child can learn from the comfort of home. This also gives us access to the best instructors regardless of geography.

We offer a free 15-minute discovery call first. That's usually enough for parents and kids to know we're the right fit. A single stand-alone lesson before committing is possible, though we find most families prefer to start with a package after the call. Either way, there's no pressure.

We ask for 12–24 hours' notice before cancelling a session. Life happens. Emergencies and honest mistakes are always understood. We do ask that if cancellations become a recurring pattern, we have a conversation, because our tutors hold those slots and other students may be waiting for them.
