About our service

Kids Coding Tutor is a trading name of DoubleMDevelopment Fz LLC, a company registered in the UAE. We provide private 1-on-1 online coding tutoring for children aged 8–16. All sessions are conducted via video call. By booking or purchasing sessions, you agree to these terms and conditions.

All bookings and purchases must be made by a parent or legal guardian. By booking on behalf of a child, you confirm you have parental or guardian authority to do so.

Session packages

Tutoring is sold in hour-based packages. Once purchased, hours do not expire. You may use them at whatever pace suits your child. Sessions are typically 60 minutes and are scheduled by mutual agreement.

Exact package pricing is provided on our pricing page. All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated.

Scheduling and rescheduling

Sessions must be scheduled in advance via our booking system. We ask for a minimum of 24 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel a session. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may be counted as used unless cancelled due to illness or emergency, at our discretion.

We will always do our best to accommodate schedule changes. If we need to cancel or reschedule a session on our end, we will give you as much notice as possible and the session will not be counted.

Refund policy

All purchases are non-refundable. Unused hours do not expire and will remain on your account indefinitely.

If the original student no longer wishes to continue, unused hours may be transferred to another person. Hours may also be applied to any subject or skill within our areas of teaching. Please contact us at michael@kidscodingtutor.com to discuss your options.

What we provide

We provide structured, personalised coding instruction tailored to your child's current level and goals. After every session, we provide a written progress report so you can see exactly what was covered and how your child is developing.

We adapt the pace and curriculum to each student. If at any point you feel progress is not meeting your expectations, please contact us directly. We will work with you to adjust the approach.

Technical requirements

Sessions are conducted via video call. You will need a computer or tablet with a stable internet connection, a microphone, and a modern web browser. Specific software requirements (if any) will be communicated before the first session.

A webcam is helpful but not required. We fully understand that some parents prefer not to have their child's face on camera, and students are welcome to keep their webcam off at any time. This will not affect the quality of the session.

Multiple students per session

We can accommodate two students in the same session (for example, siblings or friends learning together). This is billed at a different rate, not double, but slightly above the standard per-session rate to reflect the additional preparation and attention involved. Please contact us before booking to discuss the right arrangement.

Acceptable use

Sessions are for the enrolled student only and may not be shared or transferred. Recordings of sessions are not permitted without prior written consent from both parties. We reserve the right to terminate sessions if conduct is inappropriate or disruptive.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kids Coding Tutor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the sessions in question.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify active clients of significant changes. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the UAE courts, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
